Happy 10th Anniversary!

Hi, guys! Today I am going to share an anniversary card I made for a blogging friend getting ready to celebrate her 10th wedding anniversary.  I made this card for her to give to her husband.  Bee mentioned that the 10th wedding anniversary is the tin/aluminum anniversary.  I made two hearts using foil tape by Ranger.  I made faux rivets in them using my eyelet setter and colored them with alcohol inks to give them an aged look.  I learned this technique by Tim Holtz while working on his tags last year. Bee mentioned that she would like a blueprint stamp used to symbolize the building of a marriage.  I thought that was genius!  I added dazzling diamond glitter to the heart as diamonds can also be a symbol for the 10th anniversary.

Supplies:
Stamps: Stampers Anonymous
Paper: Gina K Designs, Ranger Foil Tape
Ink: Alcohol Inks, Black Archival
Misc.: Tim Holtz Embossing Folder, Spellbinders Heart dies, Circle Punches, Corner Rounder, Dazzing Diamonds Glitter, Computer Generated Names and Number

This was a hoot to make.  I love that I could use various techniques on one card, and use a variety of products.  I had very inky fingers when I was done which was a bonus.  I always feel I am successful when my hands look the part!

Wishing the happy couple a very happy anniversary!

Until next time!

I am with you on the mucky mitts! Doesn't look good when I have to greet clients though!!

Ms Winnie, I have some high-end paper ends from Stampin' Up that I'd like to find a new home for. Could/would you use them? No pressure, but drop me a line if you're interested, and I'll mail them to you. No catch. :)

I'm smiling at your "inky fingers" remark! The other day I had red ink all over my hand and my daughter wondered what I'd done to myself -- she should have guessed it right off since we've both been known to make a mess when stamping!
