Deanera's First Holy Communion

Hi, guys! Hope your day is going well!  It is Spring and many young people are making their First Holy Communion.  I was asked if I could make one of my cards for a friend's granddaughter who is receiving the sacrament in a few weeks.  I made a card for this little girl for her birthday, and she loved seeing her name on the card, so that was the only request I had to follow.

Supplies:
Stamps: Catholic Rubber Stamps, Lawn Fawn (Banner)
Paper: Gina K Designs, Carta Bella (True Friends)
Ink: Memento Black, Copic Markers
Misc.: Lawn Fawn (Banner Die), Spellbinders Square Dies, White Ribbon, Tim Holtz Ideology Rosette Ribbon, Pearl

I am always so touched to be asked to make a card for such a special occasion in a person's life.  This is such an important step for Deanera, and I wish her and her family many blessings.

Until next time!

What a sweet card, Winnie, and one that will be treasured for years to come. I wasn't aware that they had stamps for first communions and think its great. Have a blessed week, my friend!

Beautiful card.

It's such an honor to be a part of such an important occasion. They could have picked anybody - and they picked you (rightfully so. You are very talented).

When I was planning weddings, every single wedding was a blessing.

That is a long list of cards you have there--I don't see a card for your darling sister for Flag Day. June 14th will be here before you know it.

This is such a lovely card, Winnie. And I know Deanera will have loved it (or will love it, if she's yet to see it). I love seeing the cards you create. It inspires me to get out my crafting supplies and get going again.

How sweet, Winnie! Such a wonderful milestone moment and the card could not be more fitting! Love how her name is on it, wonderful touch! My daughters all had communions (going to mass back in those days!) And all they would talk about was "being the bride girl!" :)
