As paper crafters, we all share one thing in common: paper scraps!
Yes, that is my folder filled with my scraps! Today, I will share how I often use my scraps in my card making!
I will be making three cards using the following scraps from my folder to make fun embellishments. Aren't they pretty?
I just love patterned paper. I hate to waste any of it. So I use them to make die cuts for embellishments. I cut my papers into strips and then adhere them to a piece of card stock in fun patterns.
Then I cut out die cuts to use for my cards. For the first one, I used the Tattered Floral Die by Tim Holtz.
This is the card I made using this fun embellishment. Cute, or what?
For the second one I used the Caged Bird Die by Tim Holtz.
This is the card I made with the bird embellishment.
Finally, for the third card, I used the Townscapes die by Tim Holtz.
This is the card I made using the Townscape embellishment.
I hope this has inspired you to pull out your scraps and get SCRAPPY!
The next person up is Bethany. She will be sharing how she uses her paper scraps.
A special thank you to Chaitali for organizing this blog hop! Chaitali has a link on her blog where you can post your creations and she will be holding a random drawing for a prize! She will also be randomly drawing one winner from comments left on the participants' posts! So, don't forget to leave a comment for a chance to win! Good luck to all!
Until next time!

What a great way to use up the scraps! The first two cards very pretty and CAS! And the third one so fun and cool!
I absolutely love this way of using up scraps! The finished die cuts do not look at all like you were using up scraps - they're gorgeous!
Hi Winnie! Such an amazing projects! And the idea that they were made out of scraps made them even more amazing! Thank you =)
Simply amazing! I love what you do with your scraps, the paper for die cutting us fabulous!
Wonderful inspiration. We have lots of scraps in this house.

Thats a lot of scraps :D Nice work with the cards!! The flower one is my fav I think! Love that die!
AWESOME tutorial - I am so inspired! This idea will be bookmarked for me! Thanks so much! Oh, and I love your outcome!
Super idea for how to use scraps. I am definitely going to try this. I love how your embellishments turned out, and your cards, too.
Awesome cards. You have shared the transformation from scrap paper to card with those pics so well... Loved your creations!
Awesome cards... Loved seeing the pics from scrap paper to cutouts to the card...
Winnie, I love your paper strips technique to use up your scraps! I must give it a go!
These are beautiful! What amazing creativity - and so efficient to use the scraps. It would be hard to give them away as cards - I would want to frame them :-)
OMG, your embellishments are adorable using paper scraps. They really pop on your fun cards. Must try this technique soon ~ TFS!
Beautiful cards! Love this technique.
I'm going to show this to my boys. They are always creating out of paper. Did I tell you that Ben makes motorcycles out of paper, with all the detail of a real motorcycle? He is getting better and better at using scraps because so many of his projects involve tiny bits.
I love how you use your scraps with die cuts. I'm so inundated with scraps it's scary!
Wow Winnie! Love all of these cards and I'm so impressed at how you used your scraps! I have so many of these myself so you've just inspired me to make some cards with them! Fabulous job! :)
I hate wasting scraps too! You made some beautiful cards using the leftovers, and no one would ever even know.
These are awesome. I just spent time this weekend and finally got my scraps organized. All your cards are lovely and my faves are the bird one with the yellow base and the last one with the Townscapes die.
Now that is one of the neatest uses of scraps I've seen in a while! Love how the die cuts turn out ---- so very pretty!!!!
