I was wondering what teapot to share with you today, when I came across one I received many years ago from my brother Sean. He went to visit my other brother Bill who was living in Japan at the time and while there he brought home this teapot for me. Love the shape and strainer as it a very fine one.
Here is a shot of the inside and you will see the stamp on the inside of the lid.
Isn't it adorable? Love the piece of bamboo on the strainer too!

That is very well made and a great one! Lovely colors too!
What a thoughtful gift from your brother! The teapot is really cute with its own strainer. Thank you, Winnie, for sharing this at Tea Time and have a beautiful day.

I love it! And so special to be a family gift. Their strainers are the best...so very fine. Thanks for sharing and linking to Tuesday Cuppa Tea!

Love your teapot from Japan. Makes me wonder why I didn't ask our grandson to bring me one when he went to Japan last spring. ;o( Hugs, Geri N.
Oh yes, it is adorable! The coloring too is wonderful. I Love that it has its own strainer. It looks like it would keep tea quite warm too.
Hugs,
Terri
A cute teapot, with a different handle for pouring. I wish more teapot manufacturers would make a fine mesh infuser like yours. Rooibos in particular, I have to strain a second time when pouring it.
Wonderful teapot ... love the design ... and so special as it was a gift from your brother. Happy Tea Day!
A very precious teapot! The blue and green colors are pretty. Your tea strainer is perfect for loose tea. Glad you brother was so thoughtful. Have a great week!
