For this first one, I wanted to make a card for a fellow blogger named Debbi whose posts I have been enjoying this past year. I have not read anyone more passionate in her writing. She was writing a lot about her desire to get President Obama re-elected. My husband had a stamp of the President, so I borrowed it and this is the card I made. The inside read: White House Christmas
Supplies:
Stamps:Viva Las Vegas Stamps
Paper: Papertrey Ink, Echo Park
Inks: Memento Black
Misc.: Copic Markers, Computer Generated Sentiment, Santa Hat
The next card up is for my friend Irvina who was away visiting family in Oklahoma this holiday. As you can see I had a thing with using random style sentiments this holiday! Irvina loves Elvis Presley, so I thought this would be a fun card for her.
Stamps: Cornish Heritage Farms
Ink: Versafine
Paper: Papertrey Ink, Echo Park
Misc.: Clear Embossing Powder, Snowflake Button, Bakers Twine, Computer Generated Sentiment
Both cards were fun to make, and while the sentiments were both computer generated, they each had a unique look to them I thought.
Hope your day is a great one!

I LOVE my card! I have a couple boxes of President Obama memorabilia from both campaigns and this card is definitely going to be part of the collection. Thank you again so much, you're so thoughtful.
I have to say the Elvis one made me grin so bad....I've been singing "Suspicious Minds" (very badly granted) for the past couple of days! :)
Hope you had an amazing New Year Winnie!
These are great! I especially love the Obama stamp and the backgrounds on both cards.
I hope it's not too late to wish you for 2013.
As usual your cards are good and they have a nice sense of humour.
I love these personal Christmas cards and I'm sure the recipients loved them too.
I love the Obama one!
Very clever. I like how you tailored each one to each person, too. No email can ever be as special as a hand-made, hand-written card like that.
Thanks Winnie,
Your Elvis Card is great and I love it. Having you as a friend is always a blessing.
Irvina
Great work,as always. Gave me a smile this morning! One I really needed. Thanks
So creative! What beautiful things you have made.
Great Elvis card! And timely too. The King's birthday is on Tuesday.
Happy New Year Winnie!
I'll take Elvis over Obama ANY day! I love your Elvis card .. sure brings back some wonderful memories.
Love the Obama card and I love "I'm Dreaming of a White House Christmas"! That's clever!!!
