Hi, guys! I am a very blessed lady when it comes to my family. I have 10 nieces and nephews and they love to craft! I have had a few tea parties and stamping days with groups of them at a time. Four of my nieces came and spent the day with me having tea, and crafting. My older niece Tsubomi made cards for her swim team, while the other 3 made cards for friends. I don't think I can have more fun than when I am spending time crafting with the kids. Since I had 4 girls stamping I used my old setup in our basement. It is a great space with two large tables and stools. I have moved my stamping area to the main floor, but will keep this area in the basement for group stamping.
Isn't Tsubomi's card great? Her team is the Brewster Bears.
Aren't they adorable? I hope in 2013 I will spend more time creating with them and my nephews as well. One of my nephews really enjoyed making a
Tim Holtz Christmas tag last year, and so I am hoping to have a day with the boys soon!
Have you done crafts with kids? Who has more fun, them or YOU? For me, it is definitely me!
Wishing you a fun day ahead and INKY fingers!

Craft days are the best, my girls love making cards, picture frames and gifts for people. Looks like everyone had fun!
What a fun way to spends the day together!! I thought you made your own crafting area in the basement? But now I read you moved it up again? I've changed up my crafty-area aswell, needed more storage room :-P Enjoy your day! (ps. did you see Tim sneak-peeks? It's already hurting my wallet!)
It looks like a good time was had by all. Coming to your house for a craft day making cards would be an extra special treat knowing from your blog how many fabulous stamps and supplies you must have at your disposal to stretch ones creativity!

This looks like so much fun! I have a group of (adult) friends I get together with every month and we stamp and share ideas. It would be a lot of fun to teach / show young kids how to stamp and make cards!
By the way, thanks for stopping by my blog! I'm keeping an eye on your blog too. I am a fan of Tim Holtz too.
That is so great you have the larger space for crafting with kids. I am sure they will have fond memories of these times with you : )
My kids love making things!
Those are some lucky nieces. I craft with my boys. We made painted rocks for the school craft fair, my 10 year old finger knits, my 7 year old sewed a cat nip pillow for the cat's Christmas present. I don't know that they stick with projects as long as girls will (I don't have any girls for comparison!), but we have fun while it lasts.
You must be the fun aunt to visit. Goodies to eat and art, what could be best for budding artists. I used to love to do projects with my girls when they were little, so I'm glad to have my elementary students now. Blessings!
If you haven’t joined Creative Crafts Thursday yet, please share your projects at www.creativecraftsthursday.blogspot.com each and every week! It’s a Blog Hop, too. So feel free to link it up on your site as well.
