Baby Boy's First Birthday Card Using My Favorite Blueprint Stamp

Do you have a stamp that you reach for over and over? For me it is the cupcake stamp by Stampers Anonymous! As you know, I love the Blueprint stamps, but this one is the one that I use the most.  I needed to make a little boy a card for his first birthday, and the single candle was just perfect for the occasion.

I have been enjoying the change of season here in New York.  I am enjoying the cooler weather and all the Fall outdoor fun!  My husband and I have been to some local apple farms, our local arboretum for their Fall festivals and this weekend we will be attending an Oyster Festival.  They have a lot of vendors there who sell their crafts, so it is right up my alley, not to mention all the delicious food!

Nothing Says Flag Day Like An Uncle Sam Kitty!

Hi, guys! Hope all is going well!  Today I am going to share a couple of cards I made this week for some family members.

I made this first one for my sister Maggie.  If you have been reading my blog for a while you may remember that I make her a special card each year for Flag Day.  I know it is not a usual "card" holiday, but it is a tradition between us.  You can see last year's card and explanation here. This year I decided to go with a kitty dressed up like Uncle Sam by The Stampsmith. The patriotic paper is from the Tim Holtz Seasonal paper pad. Distress ink was used to age/antique the image.

Next up is a graduation card I made for my nephew Christopher who is beginning High School in September.  I decided to use some of the fun goodies from my Simon Says Stamp June Kit.  It is the first kit I ever used, so it was fun to try my hand at using some new products.  I decided to use my Stampers Anonymous Lightbulb Blueprint stamp, as I thought it went well with the sentiment I found in the paper pad. Tattered Rose Distress ink was used on the image as it went very well with the sentiment color.

Some Blueprint Birthday Cards

Hi, guys!  Hope all is well!  I made a pair of birthday cards using the Blueprint Stamps by Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous.  I just love using these stamps as they are so fun to color and have a great look to them.

Ink: Memento Black, Copic Markers
Misc.: Tim Holtz Wishbone

Isn't that wishbone adorable?  I applied it with Glossy Accents.

This second one is a fun present/gift stamp.  I like that I can use this for birthdays as well as Christmas or any other occasion that a gift is involved.

If I had to recommend a great birthday stamp set, I would say this is it!

Easter Cards, Blueprint Style

Hi, guys!  Hope all is well!  I thought I would share some of the Easter cards I sent out this year.  I picked up the new Blueprint series of stamps by Stampers Anonymous/Tim Holtz and just love them.

The first 3 cards were all colored with Copic markers.

The next 3 cards were colored using Distress Markers to watercolor the images and I used Distress Ink to apply color to the paper edges to give them a more aged look.

As you can see, I really enjoyed using these stamps.  I am looking forward to using the other stamps in the series now that I am done with my Easter crafting! Make A Wish (Tim Holtz Blueprint Stamps)

Hi, guys!  Hope all is well!  Today I am going to share a pair of cards I made this week for friends who requested personalized birthday cards to give.  I decided to use my Tim Holtz Blueprint Stamps as I find the images to be just so great and fun to color.  Both these cards use the same sets, but this first one is my normal size and uses only one image, whereas the second one is a large card using three images.

Supplies For Both Cards:
Stamps: Stampers Anonymous
Paper: Gina K Designs
Ink: Memento Black, Copic Markers, Archival, Distress Ink
Misc.: Computer Generated Names, Circle Punches, Tim Holtz Alpha/Numeric Sticker

I used my Copic Markers to color these images, and find they are just so fun to color. There is something very calming in sitting down and just coloring away.
