Hi, guys! Today is Wednesday, so you know what that means: I am sharing what is on my work desk with you! A new purchase is sitting in plain sight today. I picked up a set of Inktense pencils. I have been wanting them for some time. They work so well and are so vibrant. I am working on a card for my nephew Tom who is graduating grade school this week. I didn't want to do the usual cap and diploma since he is so young and thought he would like this Tim Holtz stamp. Tom has made Tim Holtz Tags with me in the past, so he has an appreciation for his work and loves Distress Inks, too. Those alpha/numbers by Tim Holtz are a fun touch to personalize it.
Thank you to Julia of Stamping-Ground for this weekly desk hopping fun! I look forward to visiting with some of of you today!
I am entering this card in the Challenge: Kraft at: http://simonsaysstampandshow.blogspot.co.uk
Hope you have a great day! Until next time!

Tom's card is very cool indeed - I love the stamp you used. Thank you for visiting me - I have to confess, although I have clay and moulds - I haven't tried them yet - I really must get on with it! Have a good and creative week xx #122
Hi Winnie - love Tom's card. Great idea to divide the stamp with colour bars it looks very effective! Tom is going to love it. Happy WOYWW to you from Helen 78
I love that he crafts with you and am sure he will love his card! To answer your question from my blog...I spritz the wax paper with the inks ( sometimes adding water to dilute the colors ) and then press the tag down into the ink and drag it up and out. Then let it dry. I might repeat this process 2 or 3 times. Then when the tag was dry I spritzed it with water and blotted up the water spots with a paper towel. Hope that helps, I'd do a video on it but I have poison ivy on my hands, so not a pretty site! :( Thank you so much for visiting my "floor of shame today", lol waving hi from the hills of North Carolina ♥
Wow Winnie are you a lucky girl or what.. a husband and a nephew who craft, that's fabulous, the card you made him is fantastic, I love it, so he will too. Your dinner plate look so artistically beautiful and your husband's card is a work of art. Love your shirt card, I've never seen one like that, its so real looking.
Those pencil look like you're gonna have some big fun with them.
Thanks for your visit loved visiting your inky fingers, have a wonderful day.

you have me looking into those pencils as I am looking for a new colouring medium. I am thinking of Tim Holtz distress markers but people say not so good things about them.
Loving the piece you have made
have a great WOYWW and enjoy the rest of your week

What a lovely card!
Have wonderful week, Happy WOYWW. xx
Hi Winnie! Love the card! I think I will need to check out these pencils, too. Did you use water or a blender pen on them? And I sure wish my desk was that neat :). Most of all, I LOVE the backstamp that says "This better not go in the trash!" I have a similar stamp, but I will have to dig it out for the correct wording. I only use on cards for REALLY close family :) Hope its sunny for you! Take care!
Perfect I'd say..it is a marvellous stamp. Your new inktense pencils look very inviting, am in no doubt that you'll use them and use them.
Great desk you have, Winnie! Your card for your nephew, Tom, is awesome. He will treasure it!
Happy WOYWW and have a wonderful week! Darnell #20
