I decided to use different color schemes for each and to personalize each with the new arrival's name. The images were colored with my Prisma colored pencils and Distress Stickles dry glitter was applied to the lily of the valley for some sparkle.
For the inside of each card I used the sentiment by Cloud9 Design that read:
A wee bit of heaven
drifted down from above,
a handful of happiness,
a heart full of love
Helen Steiner Rice
I thought it was perfect with the butterfly bringing the tiny arrival!
Hope you enjoyed these cards today as much as I enjoyed creating them!
Until next time!

Adorable baby cards, and I've been especially keen on new ideas for baby cards since I'll have a new grandbaby next month! These are great and the way you personalized them is brilliant and a great way to batch create...just fill in the name once the baby arrived. Fantastic!
HOW HOW HOW PRECIOUS!!! Love the idea of a butterfly bringing a bundle of love!!! SWEET!!! Beautifully colored as well! To answer your question...the rivets are actually trim that come in rows that I just cut apart found at The Funky Junkie.
I love the idea of a butterfly bringing the new arrival instead of a stork!
Cute! Love how you make the names stick out!

A lovely way to welcome to new arrivals with this pair of sweet cards!
Adorable! And I love the poem you paired with it.
The different colors give them very different looks. Good job!

These are super adorable cards and perfect for welcoming the new bundle of joy! I have never seen this image before and love it! Your coloring with the Prisma pencils is so pretty. I've never tried these and it looks fun.
