Hi, guys! I am happy to say that I won a fun giveaway the other day. Debbi over at http://knitrunrepeat.blogspot.com/ held the giveaway and I was one of the winners of 8 skeins of yarn. As a crafter, you know this was very cool for me. So, in order to thank her, I made her a card and used a bit of the yarn on it.
Supplies
Stamps: A Muse, Stampendous
Ink: Memento Black, Distress Ink (Weathered Wood)
Misc.: Cuttlebug Embossing Folder, Stampin' Up Button, Yarn, Copics
Blogging has opened a new world to me. I have read blogs from all over the world and have shared, chatted and been enjoying this great community. I have learned a great deal from fellow bloggers like Debbi, who for instance has been answering a lot of my gardening questions, and I hope that I have taught a few things to some of you. If nothing else, I hope you embrace your creative side!
Wishing you a great holiday weekend!

Congratulations on your win! I'm sure she loved the cute card you made her.
I agree, the blogging community is a great thing to be a part of.
Congrats on winning! Those are some of the best packages to receive in the mail. That yarn looks like it would make a comfy & warm sweater.
Very cool! :-)
Hope you are enjoying your holiday weekend as well!
Congrats on winning and how nice of you to send a card : ) Hope you are having a great weekend and I so agree with you about blogging!
Yarn crafts is one that I have never taken up, but I'm the biggest admirer of those who can knit and crochet. I used to love the things my grandma would create with needles and yarn. Congratulations on your win.
What a nice way to say thanks with this creative design. I really like the way you incorporated the yard in your design, and your sentiment is SPOT ON! Well done!
Here's hoping you get a little bit of rain...enough to make the plants happy!
What a lovely win - I like the card you have made too. Thanks for commenting on my blog - I bought the sherlock holmes stamp in California but you can get it from here http://artisticoutpost.com/eulopaet.html its the London Elements set. I have just read your blog post on your August tag too - its lovely I really like the colours and cameo image.
Congratulations. The card you made is really nice. I love the new opportunities blogging has given me too. It makes the world a bit smaller--in a good way.
You're on a winning streak! ;) Congratulations. Can't wait to see what you make with the yarn!
That is so cool! Love it!
Great idea, beautiful card.
