Fun With Ribbon Scraps

Hi, guys!  Hope all is well.  I thought I would share with you a card I made for A Cut Above, the online card class by Jennifer McGuire and friends.  It is such a great class filled with so much fun and content. I made this card using some scraps of ribbons I have been saving.  I never thought to use ribbon with my die cuts before.

Supplies:
Paper: Gina K Designs White, Echo Park
Ink: Adirondack Pesto
Stamps: Stampin' Up Canvas background and Stem
Misc.: Scraps of ribbons, Papertrey Ink button, Twine
Die: Tattered Floral-Alterations

This was a fun card to make.  I have a hard time tossing ribbon scraps out, so now I have some fun uses for them.

Hope you like it and will give it a try.  Have a great one!

Great card Winnie, the ribbon technique is so fun! Made me want to go and dig through my stash of material to see what else I could use...lol.

I love the stem! (One of my first jobs was as a typesetter, so I'm all about the words!)

Hi Winnie, what a fabulous use of ribbon scraps. I can't throw out ribbon scraps so now I have some ideas of what to do with them. Love how you did the sentiment as the flower stem - that's such an awesome touch. Thanks for stopping by my blog - your comments made my day!! :-))
