WOYWW #240 - Happy Birthday Card for My Husband

Today is my husband's 56th birthday.  It is also Wednesday, so I am sharing what is on my work desk with you!  As you can see I have been working on making his birthday card. I went with a fun word search stamp that I had for many years by Stampin' Up.  I used a pencil eraser to stamp the ink on it.

Last month I was a lucky winner at Jennifer McGuire's blog and won a dozen Hero Arts Shadow Inks. I was so very excited when I learned I would be getting them and have been enjoying them ever since. A dozen ink pads to a stamper is such a treat! These inky fingers are extremely happy!

Also on my desk is a new stamp set and matching die set I received from my good friend Asia for Christmas.  I am planning to use them next to make a birthday card for a very special friend.

Thank you to Julia for the desk hopping fun!  I look forward to catching up with you today!

You Are Spectacular

Hi, guys! Happy Weekend!  Hope all is well!  Today I am sharing a card I made for a friend to give her niece for her 21st birthday.  She is very "girlie" and stylish and loves the city!

Supplies:
Stamps: Design Design, Technique Tuesday
Paper: Gina K Designs White, Green, Pattern Paper
Ink: Memento Black, Hero Arts Shadow Inks
Misc.: Copic Markers, Wink of Stella

I used my clear Wink of Stella pen to give the skyline buildings a sparkle and shine.

Wishing Erica a very Happy 21st Birthday!

Lots going on this weekend!  Hope yours is filled with fun, too!

Until next time!

WOYWW #216 - Personalized Birthday Card

Hi, guys! Hope all is well!  Today is Wednesday, and you know what that means!  I am sharing what is on my work desk with you!  Thank you to Julia of Stamping Ground for this desk-hopping (snooping) fun!

Today I am working on a personalized birthday card for a 3-year-old boy.  I decided to use this set of stamps that are letter stamps shaped like animals.  I also decided to use various animal print stamps for the background.  Lots of inks of various colors on my desk today as well.

You will see I have a Diet Pepsi on my desk.  It sure has been hot, so no hot tea for me!

I plan to visit as many of you as I can today.  I hope the week ahead is a good one for all!

Until next time!

Sparkly and Pink Get Well Card

Hi, guys! For today, I am sharing a card I made for a friend to give to a co-worker who had surgery.  She asked me to make the card "pink and sparkly" as that is her personality and would make her smile.  I decided to make a floral card with plenty of bling and pink.

Supplies:
Stamps: Hero Arts/Basic Grey
Paper: Gina K Designs
Ink: Hero Arts Shadow Inks
Misc.: Bling, Ribbon

I really believe in the power of a good card to lift one's spirits.  I sure hope this accomplishes just that today!

Enjoy the day!  Until next time!
