WOYWW #218 - Lots of Stamps

Hi, guys! Hope all is well! Today is Wednesday, so I am sharing what is on my work desk with you.  Thank you to Julia for this desk hopping fun!

Today my desk is full of stamps that I am looking through at the moment.  I was asked by a co-worker friend to make a special birthday card for her daughter's 4th birthday.  Part of my process is to just start digging through my stamps and lay them out in front of me.  Most of the time that is a great starting point for me when I am thinking about creating a card.

I happen to have a lot of stamps that would be perfect for a little girl, from the Disney Princesses to other various girl images of every type.  Still haven't decided what I will do yet, but I think I am leaning towards the adorable little girl dog with the cupcake.

Hope to visit with a lot of you today and see what you are up to this week!

Have a great week!

Someday I'll bring you a cup of tea and you can show me your workspace because your photos don't do justice. I imagine a room full of overflowing bins and supplies, with designs taped and tacked to the walls... I just love the work you do. :)

I do that too with stamps! So often the images give you the inspiration for all sorts - colours, sentiments, everything! I like the idea of the little dog with the cupcake: perfect! Julie Ann xx #41

What fun, getting all the supplies out to plan a special card for your friend's little girl! I am sure she will be thrilled with it.

Thank you for your lovely comment - glad you like my new room. It's so exciting starting in a new space, isn't it. I know what you mean about not wanting to leave it - when we move in, I shall be torn between the kitchen, the bathroom and my ARTHaven, and if my hubby can't find me, he's sure to find me in one of those gorgeous rooms!! I am feeling a lot better today, thanks (except for profound exhaustion but that's to be expected with the M.E. and then an infection on top) - I was amazed how quickly the antibiotics started working.

Happy WOYWW,

Although I don't do much stamping, occasionally pinching one of Margaret's (glitterandglue) as a start for a pyrography design, I do like to get a number of pictures out before deciding which one to use as the basis of the next pyrography design. Have fun and a happy WOYWW week, john-w #77.

I recently reorganized all my stamps and discovered a few old favourites that I haven't used in AGES (and a few, not at all!) It's a useful exercise, almost a substitute for shopping....but not quite :)

Happy (still catching up) WOYWW!
