Dining In the Garden With a Good Bottle of Wine

Hi, guys! Hope all is well! The weather is still warm, but not as brutal as it has been.  It is a good thing as I was really starting to feel ill with the endless heat and no relief.  Finally, this weekend my hubby and I were able to dine outside and relax.  It has been way too hot for me to do that.

My tomatoes are starting to ripen, and I have had a couple of bowls full already picked and used.

I love to make fresh green beans and tomatoes, and boy were they delicious!

My hubby and I discovered a great inexpensive white wine that we loved.  As a crafter and a lover of beautiful things, I can't help but keep these bottles.  They will look great with flowers on my table!  Isn't she pretty?  The wine is great plain, but even better with a squeeze of lime!  (I have NO affiliation with this company, but thought I would share it with you as I love a good priced and tasty wine!

Hope you are enjoying your summer, and if it isn't summer in your neck of the woods,  I know it will be there sooner than you think!

Until next time!

So glad you got a break from the heat! It was 104 here today. You know it's hot when you wait for sundown to go swimming! I personally can't wait for fall! :)

We have had a pretty mild summer too (at least for the Midwest anyway) and I'm grateful. I'm glad you are enjoying the nice weather, and those awesome tomatoes ~ yummmmm!

Those tomatoes look so yummy! And thanks for the wine tip too! Glad you got to dine outside. It is nice to have slightly cooler weather now where we are too...the heat can really be exhausting!
Hugs my friend!

I love your food postings Winnie because I love food and crafting too! :) That wine does look good and the bottle is fun! Yes, trying to hang on to summer as long as I can because It's passing way too fast! :(

lovely.

Thank you for your comment about the sweets. In answer to your question they can work with any dried fruits and any nuts, and nut butters - different combinations give different flavours. I wouldn't use peanut butter though as it's overpowering

Looks like a wonderful weekend! I'll have to try that wine if I can find it out here. I love a light Zinfandel or Moscato.

I would never have thought to add lime to wine, that sounds very tasty though, and yes, the bottle itself is fabulous! waving hi from the rainy ( again ) hills of North Carolina ♥
