WOYWW #267 - You Are Loved

My desk this week was very busy!  I needed to make a special card for a special woman who is having a health crisis and is in need of good cheer.  You will see I had out my inks, Distress Markers and lots of stamps.

One thing I love about making cards is how they can make someone feel special and cared for.  I know I love to go to my mailbox and find a surprise from time to time.  I hope this card lets the recipient know how much she is loved as she begins her treatments.

Here is the finished card:

Thank you to Julia for the desk hopping fun!  I am looking forward to catching up with you and seeing what you are all working on! If you're not part of the fun, why not visit Julia and join in?  We would love to see what is on your desk!

Until next time!

WOYWW #230 - New Stamps and Envelope Punch Board

Hi, guys!  Today is Wednesday, so that means I am sharing what is on my work desk with you!  Thank you to Julia for the desk-hopping fun!   Today I have a new gadget on my desk: an envelope punch board.  I am looking forward to making some envelopes to match my cards.  I understand this tool will make it easy to do.  I currently use templates to do it, but don't make them that often. I wanted something faster.

I also have a new set of stamps on the desk by Hero Arts.  It is not my usual style, but this brush strokes stamp set looks like a lot of fun to work with.

Looking forward to visiting with you today!  If you haven't hopped along, I suggest you give it a try! Lots of fun desks to visit and wonderful people to "meet."

Until next time!
