Some Halloween Fun

Hi, guys!  I started making more Halloween cards today.  I saw this fabulous paper by Webster's Pages and it reminded me of one of my friends.  I decided to keep the amazing pumpkins on the papers as the main focal images.  I used the Simon Says Stamp banner stencil to frame the sentiment.  Hero Arts Orange Soda was sponged through the stencil.  I think it is the perfect Halloween orange.

Supplies:
Paper: Webster's Pages, Gina K Designs (Mango)
Ink: Black Soot Distress Ink, Hero Arts Orange Soda
Stamps: A Muse
Misc.: Simon Says Stamp Banner Stencil, Pearls

This next card was a fun and simple one.  I won a bunch of fun Halloween stickers from a blogger from the UK and decided to use a few on this card.

Supplies:
Paper: Carta Bella, Gina K Designs
Stamps: Studio G
Ink: Black Soot Distress Ink, Hero Arts Grape Juice

What I thought was cool was the stickers have a transparent feel, and if you notice, the pumpkin appears to be getting eaten by the spiders on the paper as well as the large one on the top.

Thanks for visiting today!  Hope you enjoyed seeing what I am working on!

I am entering these cards in the following challenge:

Until next time!

Frankie Goes Trick or Treating

Hi, guys! Hope all is well!  I am starting my Halloween cards now, and today I am sharing one I made for a friend to give his nephews.  I wanted it to be cute, but still appeal to adults.  I created this scene by using a fun piece of paper that featured a haunted house, and made Frankie go trick or treating!  I was fortunate enough to win a bunch of cool glitter stickers from a fellow blogger from the UK, so I used the balloon to make it a kid-friendly card.

Supplies:
Stamps: Craft Smart, Impression Obsession (Spider Web)
Paper: Gina K (Black, Mango), Unknown Pattern Paper
Ink: Distress Black Soot, Archival Black
Misc.: Glitter Balloon Sticker

Impression Obsession makes such fun background stamps.  For my background I used their spider web stamp.

I hope you find some time in your day to do something you love!

Until next time!

The Itsy, Bitsy Spider

Hi, guys! Today I am sharing two Halloween cards I made.  The first one up I made for my friend Erich's nephew,  Alex.  I decided to go with spiders as he is a little boy and lots of little boys like creepy crawly things.

Supplies:
Stamps: Papertrey Ink, Impression Obsession
Paper: Gina K Designs
Ink: Distress (Black Soot), Distress Seedless Preserves, Versafine Black
Misc.: Clear Embossing Powder, Brad, Alpha Stickers

For this next one, I used other creepy crawlers and some funny (dare I say cute?) spiders.  I used a white gel pen to accent the eyes of the dangling spiders and the BOO sentiment, and added some googlie eyes for some fun.

Supplies:
Stamps: Papertrey Ink, Stampin' Up, Vap! Scraps
Paper: Gina K Designs (White), Recollections (Bright Orange)
Ink: Distress (Black Soot), Versafine Black
Misc.: White Gel Pen, Googlie Eyes

These were fun to make.  I am not sure if I ever told you, but Halloween cards are among my favorite to make.  I can make some cute, or funny, or some rather gross and it is all good.  Something for everyone.  Hope to find time to make more this week.

Hope you have a great day!
