You Are My Sunshine

Hi, guys! Hope all is well! Today I am sharing a card I made for my friend Ruth to give her husband for his birthday.  I used my Tim Holtz Ray Stencil and my Dylusions Spray mists.

Supplies:
Stamps: Studio G
Paper: Watercolor paper, Gina K (Black)
Ink: Archival Black, Dylusions Sprays, Distress Ink, Distress Markers

This was a lot of fun to make.  I really love to use watercolor paper with my spray inks.  The colors just pop and are so vibrant.

I Thank My Lucky Stars For You

Hi, guys!  Today's card came about after I had a spray ink mishap! I was trying to use my Dylusions Spray inks on one of my stencils, but it bled underneath the stencils (too much ink!).  I loved the colors and HATE to waste anything.  So I decided to punch stars out of the papers, and loved how they looked.  I embossed the card with the Cuttlebug Star embossing folder and placed some of the punched stars in the centers of the embossed ones.

I thought the sentiment by Hero Arts is perfect for this card.  I used Jelly Roll pens to color the stars on the sentiment. This is a clean and simple-looking card and I enjoyed turning my mishap into a fun card!

St. Paddy's Day Tag

Hi, guys! Gearing up for St. Paddy's Day on Sunday here!  I was asked to make a tag for my friend Ruth to give her husband for St. Paddy's Day.  She likes funny sayings, and wanted a bit of a twist on the sentiment.  She is funny, and last year her tag was telling her husband how lucky he was to have her, so I went with this one below this year.

I used Dylusion Sprays on this tag.  I had fun with them, and yes, my fingers got very inky. I like to spray things like this in a big box to prevent my overanxious self from spraying my area (yep, I have been known to get it everywhere!).
