WOYWW #242 - Up To My Elbows in Valentine's Day Card Preparations

Wednesday is here again and I am sharing what is on my work desk with you.  We are currently experiencing blizzard conditions, so there is no place I would rather be than inside and warm!

My desk is full of supplies that I am sorting through to make Valentine's Day cards.  I have a drawer filled with Valentine's Day stamps, and some in my Stampers Anonymous Binders as well.  You will see a bunch of various papers and a jar filled with ribbons printed with hearts and other patterns.

Valentine's Day is one of my favorite holidays to make cards for.  I am not sure if it is the sharing of cards, or the abundance of lovely reds and pinks.  Sharing how much you love or care for someone is a fabulous thing, and I wish we did it more throughout the year.

Thanks to Julia for all the desk-hopping fun!  I hope to visit with you today and see what you are working on!

Hoping to work on some of the cards today and will share them with you soon!

I do not envy you all that white stuff. We could do with some colder weather to kill of a few bugs and get the soil ready to work, but not too much snow, please. Thank you for your visit today. I did not get too much done in my craft room as I was waiting for a parcel to come that still has not arrived, despite an email to say it was nearly here. I have also been doing a birdwatch as part of an experiment, and checking that all the feeders are full and not rotting. There is the British Big Garden Birdwatch to do this weekend, which involves watching your garden for one hour and listing everything that comes to visit, which helps to check what birds are doing well and which ones are disappearing. I reckon I might be doing my craft room late tonight. Hope you managed to get some of your cards done. xx Maggie #21

Trust you have had a great day snugged up in the warm. Hope you got some crafting done - those colours and stamps are lovely.
Thanks for visiting earlier - enjoy the fact that the snow will do its work and get rid of loads of yucky bugs and such - and do indeed try fish and chips!!
