WOYWW #268 - "Candy Is Dandy, But …"

I can't believe it is Wednesday already, so you know that means! I am sharing what is on my work desk with you!  I was asked for a last minute favor at work today.  A friend needed a card for her dentist and his technician as I am gathering she was a bit of a rough patient.  She picked up liquor for them and wanted to thank them with a card to go with it.

I am not too sure what it says about me that I have a bunch of stamps of various drinks and bottles!

Here is the card so far!

Thank you to Julia for the desk hopping fun!  Why don't you join in and share what you are working on?  I would love to see!

Until next time!

Those stamps tell me that you know how to enjoy the pleasures of life - LOL! The card for your friend's dentist and assistant is looking very uplifting and fun, so it should help make-up for her roughness during her visit. Happy WOYWW and Blessings, my friend!

Hi Winnie, back again! I meant to say, I'm glad that info was timely for you- apparently, they are not keen on silver at all, and Horseshoes have no association with weddings either. Also, Black Cats are unlucky to them! I work with a number of Polish people, and have done a lot of cards for them, so am gradually getting to know their preferences and dislikes, lol.

Hi Winnie,

Isn't it funny how we tend to pick up the same genre of stamps. The card so far looks great. It's been hot here so a nice cold drink would be perfect right about now (although mine would be iced tea).

Happy WOYWW
Peace,

The card looks nice and people are lucky you can whip something up for them last minute. My desk is clean, clean. I rearranged and tidied everything ready to start making cards again after vacation.

If you think back, you probably bought the stamps for New Year's. Anyway, who cares! It's a great, colorful card. I spied the glass looking dots on the card, I have those too. Enjoyed my visit today. Diane #51
