WOYWW#224 - A Distressed Mess

Hi, guys! Today is Wednesday, so I am sharing what is on my work desk with you!  Thank you to Julia for the desk hopping fun!  Today you will see I had a lot of Distress Inks on my desk as I was busy making Thanksgiving cards for a co-worker to give.

This is one messy desk!  After using Distress Inks, Distress Markers and embossing powders, my hands looked extremely INKY!

I look forward to visiting with a bunch of you today and seeing what you are up to!  If you haven't taken part in WOYWW, I would suggest you give it a try.  Lots of crafty fun and so many nice people to get to know!

Until next time!

Great result in your inking and distressing. My fingers seem to be permanently coloured but a scrubbie from Ranger is good to get them clean. Have a good day. Francesca #84

Hi.
Loving having a peek at your world today. It all looks like fun from here.
Thanks for sharing and I hope you have a great week.

Your hands are the exact reason why I don't do distressing of this kind! It wouldn't just be on my hands but everywhere with me. Looks great what you have done.

Thanks for sharing your crafting space and have a great week

I don't think your work desk looks any different than any other crafter when working. During release project preparations, it looks like a tornado has hit my craft room, but for me, having all my supplies out sparks my creativity to create, so it's a good thing for me, as it must be for you, as you produce some very creative projects!

That's a nice autumnal project you have inked with your distress inks on a busy desk.... I tend to wear gloves when I use distress inks as I get in such a mess

Lovely card! How is it that we use a tool yet still get so much ink on our hands?! "I do love ink on my hands in the morning" to paraphrase a famous movie quote. :) Happy WOYWW! Nan G #3

Thanks for visiting me. Yes, put a hat pin in the glossy accents(long pin) and lay them down. No problem with clogging. Have a great week. Hugs

Well yes they are rather inky aren't they? But then it looks like you've had such fun.
Don't you just love autumn colours...although I don't think I'd like them on my fingers.

Thanks for visiting me earlier.
Carry on having fun! ;D

You will find info on the Bravery Award Beads if you Google it. THe children get a bead for every treatment/hospital visit etc., creating a string of beads as awards for all they've been through. My little grandee has a 2 foot link but thankfully she is through it all. They have only just been introduced in England. Take a look at http://lillyboquilts.blogspot.com
Late getting back to you but DD2 had her baby early!!! What a wonderful day.

Hi Winnie
I always say that if I end my day with inky fingers then that means I have had a really good day crafting and to see a desk with distress inks out on it makes me smile
Have a great day today and a wonderful weekend

I miss having inky fingers. Which reminds that we crafters are a crazy bunch when inky fingers make us jealous!

Thank you so much for visiting.
Happy belated WOYWW,
